While I am enjoying all the back and forth between the Moraniacs and the Mackers in the Virginia blogopshere's very own version of West Side Story, there is a candidate running who is focused not on the other candidates, but on serving the needs of the people of Virginia.
That candidate is Creigh Deeds, and since the end of the General assembly session, he has been travelling the Commonwealth -- the entire Commonwealth -- meeting and speaking with the people of this great state. Here is a link for some photographs of Creigh's stops in Bristol, Culpeper, Harrisonburg, Staunton, Arlington, Roanoke and Charlottesville.
Because Creigh elected to remain in the Senate and do the job he was elected to do, he obviously fell behind in campaigning and organizing. The Moran campaign can ignore Creigh all it wants. The voters aren't, and last I checked, Brian Moran only gets one vote on June 9, the same as any of us.
